Setting Up Your Wallet

By connecting your crypto wallet, you can unlock a variety of Web3 features, such as showcasing your NFTs on your profile page, using ENS domain as your username, and joining token-gated communities, among others.

Step 1: Access Settings Page

Navigate to the account page in settings and click on Connect Wallet.

Step 2: Email Verification

To link your wallet address to your account, you'll first need to verify your original authentication method by obtaining an email verification code. This step ensures that the process is secure and confirms that you are the owner of the account.

Step 3: Connect Your Wallet

Opencord is compatible with Ethereum wallet addresses. If you don't have a wallet address yet, refer to this tutorial to create your first crypto wallet and start exploring the world of Web3.

Step 4: Sign the Message

Use your new wallet address to sign a message, verifying that you are the owner of the new wallet address.
